Governor Tom Wolf has issued "Stay at Home" orders to Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Monroe, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, as the state seeks relief to save lives and stop the spread of COVID-19.

This order took effect at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2020, and will continue until April 30, 2020.

This includes all games and training sessions - it is not optional and it is a club-wide decision.

This also includes postponing the TEYSA/FC Europa 5k event scheduled for March 22nd - this is now likely to be Sunday, June 7th

We do not take this action lightly but risking further spread of the disease throughout our TEYSA / FCE family is simply not worth the risk.

We will continue to monitor and modify the policy as the situation changes. We hope everyone agrees the health and welfare of all of our community is our first priority.

Tredyffrin-Easttown Youth Soccer Association (TEYSA) is a youth soccer club located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. We have been a strong presence in the community and have provided soccer services to the local population for over 3 decades.

Each Fall, we offer a variety of recreational soccer programs for boys and girls, including our in-house leagues for grades K-6, and league play with neighboring clubs in grades 7-12

We also have specialist club representatives to aid parents and players with the college recruiting process and we have a good network of contacts with colleges, especially on the East coast and North Eastern Atlantic area. Typically, 70% of our senior players go on to play at the college level.

Going for the green

In October 2019, we launched our Going for the Green turf capital fund to continue our committment to providing the highest possible level of training and creating opportunities to play soccer at all levels. With this mission comes a need to have great quality fields and training locations and our Going for the Green Campaign will enable us to replace our turf location at Delaware Valley Friends School (DVFS) which is due for a full replacement in the summer of 2020.
